On November 5, 2025, the launching ceremony of the 13,000 DWT stainless steel chemical tanker (WZ2301), co-built by Primeco Navigation Ltd. and Zhoushan Dashenzhou Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., was held in Zhoushan. As the vessel slid smoothly into the water, the phased breakthrough of this series of cooperation projects injected momentum into Primeco Navigation's oil and chemical tanker operation strategy. Chairman David Jiang and Vice Chairman Peter Pan of Primeco Navigation attended the ceremony and witnessed the moment together with representatives from all parties.

WZ2301 is the first vessel launched under the "Three-Vessel Linkage" project jointly initiated by the two parties in April this year, marking the "first shot" for the delivery of the series. Integrating modern construction technology and intelligent concepts, the vessel adopts high-strength steel and an energy-saving power system, boasting both safety, stability, environmental friendliness and high efficiency, which fully aligns with the development trend of international high-end chemical tankers.

Chairman David Jiang stated: "The launching of WZ2301 is a vivid manifestation of the 'complementary advantages and pragmatic win-win' cooperation between the two parties. From the keel laying in April to today's launching, the efficient collaboration between both teams has ensured the project's progress. This not only demonstrates professional strength but also lays a solid foundation for us to expand the chemical transportation market. We will conduct full-process strict supervision over key subsequent links of WZ2301, such as equipment installation and sea trials. In the future, we will take this vessel as a benchmark to deepen cooperation, promote the delivery of subsequent vessels, and explore innovative cooperation in areas such as new energy ships and liquefied gas carriers."

Leveraging its experience in oil and chemical tanker operations, Primeco Navigation fully participated in the vessel's design discussions and construction supervision throughout the cooperation. By integrating actual operational needs into the construction phase in advance and cooperating efficiently with Zhoushan Dashenzhou Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., it provided guarantees for the safe subsequent commissioning of the vessel. This "operation-oriented" cooperation model has also become a key highlight of the partnership.

WZ2301 will enter sea trials and other subsequent phases and is expected to be officially commissioned soon. The vessel will optimize Primeco Navigation's capacity structure and enhance its market competitiveness. In the future, Primeco Navigation will continue to work with industry partners to deepen its presence in the high-end shipping sector and jointly explore new blue oceans of development.
